Between 1996 and mid-2000, I worked in a building in downtown Denver that was catty-corner from the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve.

I missed posting about 2024 3rd Quarter Winnings, so I’m including it in my year-end lottery wrap up.

I was helping clean the laundry room. I found this weird little certificate of conformity from a pack of KN95 face masks.

I accumulated a quart jar of US coins, legal tender for all debts public and private.

I turned the coins into paper currency at a “Coinstar” vending machine in a Safeway grocery store.

There’s a system admin saying: It’s always DNS

But weird problems aren’t always DNS problems. Better than 50% of the time, they’re cabling problems.

I visited the Vedauwoo, Wyoming climbing area just over 25 years after my rock climbing accident there.

I fell about 30 feet on July 3, 1989, leading to an emergency room visit, 3 days in the hospital, and 9 weeks of knees-to-toes casts.

On September 2, 2024. I went back for a visit, as a tourist. I haven’t been rock climbing since early 1990.
