I used a 3.3 µF, 370V_AC capacitor in a previous Villard Circuit voltage doubler, but I used 67 nF capacitors in a Greinacher Circuit voltage doubler.

That’s a huge capacitance difference. Did I do the Greinacher Circuit correctly?

I built some simple voltage doublers to see what wave forms result.

I rebuilt my original astable multivibrator with the 2N3904, transistors, better matched capacitors and 10K and 68K Ω resistors from the improved astable multivibrator I wanted to see if that made a difference in the original circuit’s behavior.
