Weird 5G Rant
During the midst of the COVID pandemic, I was in the habit of taking walks through my neighborhood.
December 22, 2020, 4:41pm, corner of 2nd Ave and Delaware Street, Baker neighborhood, Denver, CO, I chanced upon this gem.

City of Denver installed a new light pole, and some weirdo taped a sign about 5G to the new light pole. I guess COVID did bad things to a lot of people.
Just for reference, this is what I read on the sign:
November 30, 2020

owners of this 5G installation;

representatives, and the FCC,

The Wikipedia 5G Misinformation page says that a substantial minority of the US populace in 2021 thought that the US government was using COVID vaccine to put microchips in people, which would later be used to control them via 5G. I was not familiar with this conspiracy theory until I looked up “5G paranoia” in Google Search today, 2025-09-24. I used to be a conspiracy theory collector. I liked to read conspiracy theory weirdos, and laugh at the dumbness. Crap like Qanon and 5G controlling injected microchips took all the fun out of that.
Google Street View has the house on that corner blurred out, so I guess a troubled soul lives there, and probably put the sign up.
