My Arch Linux laptop started rebooting when I closed the lid and re-opened it.

As Ben Franklin noted, “Men and nations behave wisely when they have exhausted all other resources”. So it was with this problem.

My pet Roomba, Dobby, got himself good and stuck under an overstuffed easy chair.

I completed Wordle 1,056 without any mechanical or computational help. I believe I can deduce the answer from my third guess.

I grew up outside of city limits, not really on a farm, but not really in town either. The experience gave me some incorrect ideas about how rugged animals are.

I’m a bit offended that iRobot doesn’t make an effort to get my Roomba’s gender correct.

I thought I would try to do Wordle 1,039 exclusively with computer help.

I did not solve Wordle 1,037. I fell into the too-many-alternatives trap.

I’ve used Internet Software Consortium’s dhcpd for a while.

When I was setting up my new server I found out that dhcpd was past end-of-life. ISC wanted me to use kea instead.
